Any convenience store in a tourist area will have them. You could also get a local lead. In the west the lead with the 2 inlets is called a shaver lead.nightmare.believer wrote:That's a better idea. Where can I get one?gavinmac wrote:Can't you just buy a plug adapter?
You have a Malaysian/European plug I assume? You should be fine with voltage but check first that the laptop charger is multi voltage ie 100-240 volts.

You shouldn't need an adapter in Cambodia for American power plugs.
I'd bet some Australian have plugged in their plug without an adapter. It works, but it stuffs up the power point eventually. Sorry, but I think you might need a new wall outlet.

Is your laptop charger universal ie switchable from 120v to 240v? If not you will need to get a 240v charger as well.nightmare.believer wrote:I need the cord that has a plug that will work in Cambodia. I have an HP laptop. Where can I buy one?
Aren't all electronic devices manufactured in the last few years 110-240v now?

Yes, an adapter is all you need. Look in any computer shop, many mini-marts, any electrical stall around any of the markets. Should cost $1-2.nightmare.believer wrote:Input reads 100-240V - 1.7A 50-60Hz.Mèo Đen wrote:Is your laptop charger universal ie switchable from 120v to 240v?
