Cambodian colloquialism?
A Cambodian male or female gets either tickled or poked in the ribs or gets a quick shock by being spooked. They immediately come out with about 4 words in very quick succession and will repeat the same words if poked/tickled again, I've asked what it means but they just smile and wave it off. What are they actually saying? I cant remember the sentence as it's spoken very quickly.
Never mind.
"Choy yak mae vear" comes to my mind.
Which is literally "fuck a giant your mother"

That's a serious question for Joon by the way. Everywhere my Vietnamese mother in law uses gioi oi (choi oi more often for southerners) gets a fuck somebody or something from Khmer granny. Not that the kid knows yet what it means but it's unnerving.RainMan wrote:Obviously the wrong thing to show amusement in front of your daughter when granny says fuck, but it is funny.
Don't blame me I voted for Sanders

That's funny, and surprisingly mild compared to the Spanish who might well say. Me cago en tu madre que es una puta in a similar situation.Joon wrote:"Choy yak mae vear" comes to my mind.

I think it's often "choi my" - motherfucker", or "choi kinnear" which is 'fuck together' or "choi kinnear by k'dut" - fuck until your pussy breaks.
Or "choi oun mough" - fuck me

Perhaps a little off topic for this thread, but it seems to fit with the above: I have lived in a few countries, where people (typically the teenager age) will just try to mess with you for being a foreigner, and will say stupid things like "I'm going to fuck your mouth." Are there common phrases that people say to barangs, with a smile on their faces, to get a laugh with their friends? And how do you respond, to let them know you understand and for them to lose face?youngwill100 wrote:I think it's often "choi my" - motherfucker", or "choi kinnear" which is 'fuck together' or "choi kinnear by k'dut" - fuck until your pussy breaks.

"doh mee yoo noau" comes to mind but it's ever only said for fun, never in a nasty way. It roughly translates as "how long have you had pubes".Miguelito wrote:Perhaps a little off topic for this thread, but it seems to fit with the above: I have lived in a few countries, where people (typically the teenager age) will just try to mess with you for being a foreigner, and will say stupid things like "I'm going to fuck your mouth." Had it shouted out at me on a few occasions when hashing out in the sticks, replying in a way that shows you understand results in a good laugh for all.
