It's happening. This time it's the real deal, not like that one that knockoff Hooters that opened on Street 174 many years ago.

They are hiring Hooters girls now.

Also, according to the hootersasia.com website, Hooters Siem Reap is also coming soon.

What a fucking dump that place was! Half-price Heng tried to copy Freebird, but failed horribly. The two morons who "ran" the place were completely clueless until one of them died, and then surviving moron became 4x more clueless. A well known expat's gf was the cashier for awhile, and she was ripping them off blind. Not even open 9 months.

But they were top blokes for sure!

Never went to the 2nd fake one that had nothing to do with the 1st fake one.

Can't see a real Hooters working here, unless the prices are reasonable, and/or they hire many staff with specific "qualifications".

The recently opened Hooters(tm) in Pattaya is, by many accounts, a thriving success. It's grossly expensive though. They were even allowed to hire Russian girls. The brand does speak to its American tourist clientele, who can't seem to leave home without home.

Its not Americans that go to them, its those that want American food and enjoy the eye candy LOL

I like the one in Bangkok on Soi 4. It's huge.

Does anyone know where the new Hooters in Phnom Penh is going to be? If they are hiring staff, they must be close to opening, right? They tend to build very large restaurants in prime tourist locations, so I'm surprised no one has posted yet that "I just saw that there's a huge Hooters being built next to the Royal Palace" or anything like that.

I'd heard it was going to be at the riverside end of street 104, next to Bunny Bar. There is a vacant two storey building there that might be suitable. It would be an interesting location choice. If true it would give the now slightly tatty street a big boost.

The 104 location has a double frontage on Sisowath quay plus more spaces on the 104 street section. Enough for maybe five SUVs... Don't know if that's enough.
