springrain, if I get a decent invitation from a person who just went gaga online, no problem.
Personally, I would be surprised, and I think an apology is in order, I have never referred to them as 'pus-filled' whatever, does not inspire optimism, nor respect, tbh.

Argument is cool. How awful to be all be the same. How wonderful to be able to discuss and leave feeling we've had a chance to express our differences!
But no, I've no interest in meeting vlad again or having any conversation with him. He's a repulsive hate-filled piece of shit from my point of view and I see no value in encountering it in the flesh. Already have twice, actually, and that was more than enough for my lifetime.

Glad to see your reading comprehension remains as tenuous as ever. Still don't understand the points I was making there, hardly surprising as you have a rather low level of intelligence to go along with your hatred and ignorance. Some people are just unlucky in the lottery of life I guess. Most make do, others blame the "other" and look to transfer their unhappiness with their lot in life to hatred of those they see as somehow keeping them down.vladimir wrote:Dude, you are funny, seriously. I criticise oil companies, SP has an aneurism. I'm not going to bother to respond to your latest bunch of bullshit, as you failed to address even once the entire point of that post - someone writes something about a French guy, someone who is an MMA fighter, young, Algerian a Jesus Freak and a murderer of an innocent policeman, and you immediately write some response thinking of some other French person whom you would apply the description of "Rabid" to.
And of the millions in France, the one you come up with is a French Jew whose crime is to be a bit of a pervert in an otherwise pretty exemplary life. He's not young, he's not Algerian, he's not an MMA fighter, a murderer nor is he a Jesus Freak. So why on earth do you raise this guy instead of the young Algerians who planned and implemented the Charlie Hebdo massacre. Wasn't that more of a rabid action by murderers? Why not another French boxer or MMA guy as interestingly raised by spitthedog? Why not someone who is actively promoting dissension and hatred within France like Le Pen and his daughter? No, the one you think of and contrast to this piece of shit just happens to be a French Jew. Just mere coincidence after all the discussions here I'm sure.
I was dissatisfied with calling you a sack of pus, it just doesn't seem to capture how vile you are well enough. I'll work on it.

Israeli general slammed for implying Israel - Nazi Germany similarities

An IDF general has come under fire after his remarks suggested a parallel between Nazi Germany and present day Israel in his Holocaust Remembrance speech. The controversial comments fueled heated discussion among politicians and on social media.
“It's scary to see horrifying developments that took place in Europe begin to unfold here,” Israel Defense Forces Major General Yair Golan said, addressing an audience at Tel Yitzhak in central Israel.
On Wednesday, Israel along with Jewish communities around the globe marked Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The general added that “the Holocaust should bring us to ponder our public lives and, furthermore, it must lead anyone who is capable of taking public responsibility to do so.”
“Because if there is one thing that is scary in remembering the Holocaust, it is noticing horrific processes which developed in Europe – particularly in Germany – 70, 80, and 90 years ago, and finding remnants of that here among us in the year 2016.”
Golan called “to uproot the first signs of intolerance, violence, and self-destruction that arise on the path to moral degradation.”
“There is nothing easier and simpler than fear-mongering and threatening. There is nothing easier and simpler than in behaving like beasts, becoming morally corrupt and sanctimonious.”
The general also commented on the recent case of Elor Azaria, an IDF soldier who was indicted for manslaughter for fatally shooting a Palestinian attacker who had already been wounded and immobilized, in the West Bank in March.
“Improper use of weapons and violating the sanctity of arms have taken place since the IDF's founding,” he said.
Though Golan didn’t make a direct comparison by name between Israel and Nazi Germany, his remarks sparked huge discussions among Israeli politicians.
Education Minister Naftali Bennett demanded that Golan retract his remark, while Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked told local media that Golan was “a little confused” and his statement showed "a lack of understanding, if not a disrespect of the Holocaust."
Israel PM Netanyahu disapproved of Golan's speech, Haaretz reported, citing sources in the Prime Minister's Office.
“With all due respect to the deputy chief of staff, the prime minister believes he was mistaken in his comments and it's good he fixed them,” the sources quoted Netanyahu as allegedly saying.
The IDF hurried to explain in a statement that Golan’s comments did not compare Hitler’s Germany to Israel.
“This is an absurd and baseless comparison that he never would have made and it was never his intention to criticize the Israeli government,” the IDF said, as cited by AP.“The IDF holds itself to high standards of conduct and holds the value of human life as a guiding value.”
Golan also took to Israel’s Army Radio, where he said that he had “no intention of comparing the IDF and the State of Israel with things that went on during the Nazi period.”
“There was no intent to draw such a parallel or to criticize the civilian leadership,” he added.
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon also rushed to defend the general, adding that he has “full confidence” for Golan who is a “valued commander, driven by values and many accomplishments.”
“The attacks on him due to intentional, distorted interpretations of something he said yesterday, are an additional attempt of a worrisome campaign to inflict political damage on the IDF and its officers,” the Defence minister added.
However, critics continued speculating about Golan’s comments.
“Disturbed people who will start shouting now against him ought to know, this is what morality and responsibility sound like,” center-left opposition leader Isaac Herzog wrote on Facebook.
Former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni also took to Facebook, saying that “instead of persecuting the deputy chief of staff whose conscience and values represent the IDF as a moral army that examines itself, it is more important for us to listen to his words.”
According to Knesset politician Zehava Galon, Golan's words “reflect the depth of serious crisis between military commanders and the political echelons who undermine IDF values and encourage militancy,” as cited by Haaretz.
Golan’s comments divided social media, with some saying that the remarks were probably the end of his career, while others calling him their “moral compass.”

1. He is raising how the IDF needs to be particularly conscious of maintaining a high morality and standard in their operations given what happened during the Holocaust and how it affected Israelis. He notes that there are some signs of the intolerance etc. that preceded the numerous steps that were then subsequently taken and developed into the Holocaust. He notes that the intolerance must be uprooted immediately so as not to gain credibility and become something that turns into similar persecution of others. I have no issues with these statements.vladimir wrote:Relevant: RT
Gotta tar those generals now...also reported in The Guardian. I wonder what the explanation is for this opinion? Blind? Insane?
2. These statements are by no means saying "Israel is similar to Nazi Germany", or "Israel is on the same path as Nazi Germany was". They're instead the reflections of a senior defense official strongly supporting a moral and ethical IDF in respect to the Palestinian population and applying a caution that the Israelis should be particularly careful in this regard given their history. The remarks are directly aimed at the fringes of the Israeli Right who are indeed promoting internal hatred and fear against Palestinians, similar to the way for example many Right-Wing politicians are promoting internal hatred and fear against Muslims in their countries.
3. That these remarks have caused such controversy and vitriol is a reflection of how abhorrent, odious and awful Israelis find this comparison and how careful even Israelis with spotless credentials have to be when using it due to the sensitivity.
4. This is in no way similar to the line that you, RD and NJD among others have taken that Israel currently IS like the Nazi regime and IS following steps similar to what happened in Germany in the 1930's such that one can draw a direct parallel that is relevant and that it is a valid comparison that does not constitute a deliberate provocation. In fact, that a senior defense official publicly comes out with statements like this demonstrates that Israelis ARE sensitive to the persecution of others and that it IS an issue that is of importance even to senior military officials. One never saw this in Germany in the 1930s.
I maintain that the Nazi Germany comparison is one that should only be used in the most extreme circumstances and where there are direct parallels to the actions taken in Germany in that time to Jews. I have repeatedly shown this to not be the case with the timeline of events in Germany in the 1930s and neither yourself, RD nor NJD have bothered to respond to those direct rebuttals of your "point". I reiterate that there is no point to using the "Nazi" card unless a regime crosses that line as it otherwise makes the comparison utterly meaningless when it is supposed to be the standard for evil. What's the point of using "Nazi" if everyone qualifies for it as soon as some asshole or other makes some statement? Things become like Nazi Germany when actions are taken that are like Nazi Germany, not when some idiot makes racist statements or some other nonsense. Either you think the world is such an awful place that we're all basically Nazis waiting for a situation where our inner Goebbels can come out or it's the rarest of rare and you know it when you see it. I haven't seen anyone sensible make the case that the Israelis are preparing for a systematic slaughter of the Israeli Arabs or the Palestinians. Until you can point to credible evidence that this is the case or such conditions are developing, then you are simply being hyperbolic. In this case, the hyperbole is particularly directed at a group where it is aimed to provide extreme offense, hence why it's so important to yourself and others to "fight for the right" to slander Israelis and Jews with this brush.
Seriously, there's no way for people to criticize Israel without drawing a spurious Nazi comparison? Why can people do this for all other countries, but can't stop doing it for Israel? Just like you vlad, you seem to group Israelis with Aussies as the most Nazi-like of folk. This alone should make you question your own statements, but of course you'll just double down because you like Jew-Baiting and you like getting attention, either positive or (mostly) negative due to your own Narcissism. I don't care about your shite on all the other threads, but keep ranting about Jews/Israel/Nazis and I'll keep explaining to you why it's wrong and why it represents something very wrong in your own personal character. And you'll keep doing it because you love the attention and hate Jews. And on it will go until you stop doing it.

You can maintain all you like, that's your choice. It doesn't mean I have to agree with you. That irks you, I don't care.I maintain that if there are enough parallels, people will compare...as even a Major-General in the IDF had to, because of the goon politicians who expect them to act like robots, unquestioningly.Jacked Camry wrote:I maintain that the Nazi Germany comparison is one that should only be used...
He was pulled up afterwards and probably threatened. Many Israelis have called hm a moral compass, others are obviously denigrating him.
My opinion is he's a very brave man with outstanding ethics and morals, and has reached a conclusion others have been labelled anti-Semites, slef-haters, racists etc for.
breakingthe silence.org has many decent people liek him who hav erealised what they are being asked to do is immoral, unethical, and in many cases criminal. But don't believe a racist, read what they say.

And as usual, vlad ignores the point that the Israeli General was in no way drawing the parallel that he so loves to draw, that "Israel is like Nazi Germany". As usual, vlad ignores that the comparison with Nazis is completely useless when it's applied to anyone for practically any reason, such as Aussies. And as usual, vlad proudly stands up for his right to be horribly offensive despite this not in any way adding to his arguments.vladimir wrote:You can maintain all you like, that's your choice. So fuck you vlad, you Anti-Semitic piece of shit. You indeed can proudly trumpet what an asshole racist you are, and it's your "right". As it is mine to keep calling you out, and keep showing how intellectually weak and morally dubious an idiot you are. And I will continue to do so as long as you keep posting these hateful messages. It's a shame you've reduced your boxed wine consumption as by now you usually have gone on a drunken rant that offends others and have to take a holiday from the site, at which point the intellectual discourse and general civility in this place immediately and exponentially rises. Then of course, you eventually crawl back and start spewing your diarrhea again like a hippo in the zoo, spraying shit all over the place in the hopes that you can be the centre of attention again. And this is why you won't stop; your pathetic need for attention is why you'd never stop posting this shit no matter if you understood it was wrong or not. As noted, why the owners of the site allow it is beyond my understanding.

Why not say "vlad, you're free to write anything you like about Israel, but as your continuous use of Nazi parallels has been thoroughly debunked and you refuse to address any of the rebuttals seriously, continue to simply repeat what has been shown as false and have admitted that you do it specifically to annoy one poster, you can no longer mention Nazis in this context or you're banned for x weeks"? Hang on, I am getting confused.
Are these 'Jews' the ones who live in Pennsylvania and do not belive in buttons, while only riding horses, or are they the ones that recruit Hollywood celebrities, read science fiction, and believe that magnets are evil and such ??
Someone mentioned earlier that they are the ones that have horns and sacrifice children to make something called seder wine from their blood, but I think that is actually those latter day luddites over at the Pana Wave movement.

If we are going to get to the bottom of what is going on, it is obviously better to avoid provocative diction such as likening events in the Middle-East to the N*** word. Then we can make progress. I have enormous respect for Norman Finkelstein, Victor Ostrovsky and numerous others - brave men who have taken a lot of flak for their views, but still speak out. I have enormous respect for Benjamin Freedman, whose recorded speeches give great insights into how the bloody situation that we have today came about. I have incredible respect for some young Jewish men who have refused to join in their armies' brutal actions and are spending time in jail. I have issues with the Babylon Talmud and many other inflammatory documents. The Biblical books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah & Revelations give us several tantalising possibilities for discussion and analysis. Yes, they shouldn't be discarded out of hand. I also have issues with the 'Historian' Josephus.
But any meaningful discussion ain't gonna happen when folk's negative emotions are aroused by use of the N*** word. That's just plain daft and any meaningful discussion goes out of the window. Even if people want to keep that opinion privately, no good will come of expressing it in public. It will just deflect attention from the important issues.

But come on, if you showed up for a job before actually being hired, it's pretty funny, in a George Costanza from Seinfeld sort of way.
Maybe you don't watch that show though, it's sort of Jewish.
I watched the whole of Seinfeld, I read books written by Jews, internet sites owned by them, watch movies made by them (kind of hard not to, admittedly), and...I know this marks me as an anti-Semite - I even have Jewish friends. That's the revealing one, it's what Homeland Security look for first. Kind of explains why the stupid twats keep on getting fooled, yes? Has he got any Jewish friends? Yes? Oh, FFS, we better watch him! Forget that guy who just bought explosives, he doesn't have any, must be kosher. The final nail in the coffin is if they say they don't hate Jews, that's the real determiner.
It's also known as 'if we call valid criticism of fascist/ apartheid 'anti-Semitism' the fools might be scared off' tactic. Kind of a Goebbels-type strategy. What do they say about imitation? Next step is to try and discredit them by calling them unhinged, usually practised by self-professed liberals/ wannabe academics who laud democracy and vaunt human rights UNLESS they involve Israel, because that would be anti-Semitic. The logic is irrefutable. Have a nice sabbath tomorrow.
Anyway, you better get back to your cashier hunting, it's kind of surprising vic hasn't commented on that, perhaps I missed it.
Toodles.
