What's the worst or strangest gift a Cambodian woman has ever given you?

Not a Cambo woman, but 1996, Bangkok, Jus met a girl at a beer bar and she says "I like you", takes me to a gold shop and says I want to buy you ring. I keep saying I don't want, but she insists. So she picks out a nougat ring about 2,000 baht =$50.00 and buys for me. I have never had a gold ring like that. Then she says " I want you meet my family"...........arrrrrgh.......So we go off trudging into the bowels of BKK, 6" planks, the dregs of the city,
finally get to her house...........3x3 meters of 2x4's and tin. nails on the wall for closets, 1 mattress leaning on the wall for the bedroom. 7 people. Had wonderful fish and rice. I brought the beer.
Was a wonderful time...............but I had to tell her to return the ring.
