Rugby 7's used to always be shown on Fox 2, woke up early this morning grabbed a beer ready to watch only to find it wasn't on...checked the website and found that they're now showing it on Fox 3, which of course PPCTV doesn't have...not happy!
Considering actually paying for cable TV, One TV has the best selection of sports channels. Anyone have any feedback on One TV?
WTF Fox Sports/PPCTV - Rugby 7's
WTF Fox Sports/PPCTV - Rugby 7's
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
Howdy
Until recently I had OneTV and it is a much better package than PPCTV --- as you say it has more sport channels incl all the fox sports asia plus Setanta which carries all the big rugby and NRL games - super rugby etc.
I just let it lapse because when I moved apartments the aerial gets shit reception for fast moving channels like sport and is almost unwatchable - my old apartment on riverside the aerial pointed towards the Japanese bridge and worked perfectly whereas currently I face the other direction and it is a problem. My mate lives in the next street and he has the glass aerial and faces the right way and it works perfectly. This is in the riverside area - maybe the signal comes from another direction where u live and be ok. Something to consider.
Also if you are interested go to there head office to sign up https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Ca ... 04.9340483
3rd floor --- if you call them they have no idea and say they have no stock sometimes - go to the office and they install the next day
Lots of other good movie and tv channels as well - def the best offering but being terrestrial can be a problem
Hope that helps
And yes it did have the 7's yesterday

Thanks, great to have some feedback. Do you remember the monthly fee? Couldn't find price on their website.

From memory it was about $65 for 5 months with another month free incl install and equipment
Atm I have temp got a rugbypass.com sub for a month till I return with a kodi box ---- that sub is pretty damn good quality and heaps of games live or on demand but $20pm
Cheers

Paying $10/m, decent enough to catch all the footy on Astro Supersports 1 & 3; there's a whole bunch of sports channels & the Setanta channel they have does seem to just show rugby all the time. Throw in the Fox/HBO channels & I think it's well worth it- plus if you get the signal right the quality is much better than PPCTV & CCTV.
Aerial tuning is my only pet hate; can't be arsed to get a roof antenna, but the small antenna in the box can be moved around to get the channels that matter most to you. I just have to fight with Mrs Spigz when she moves it to watch BBC lifestyle... what on earth is she thinking...
(Edit: pay by Wing each month, easiest route I reckon- less dealing with real people! )

This happens often with CCTV and PPCTV, it seems to be a random thing, channels get pulled...I think they try out products and see if people ask for them...or maybe some idiot just wakes up one morning and spins the roulette wheel of programmes...possibly the latter.
