Typical flip answers to a serious question. I'll just delete my question and go to another forum.

I missed the questions. Could you please ask again and I'll answer for you. It's that type of afternoon at work, I'm bored and happy to help.Jools wrote:Typical flip answers to a serious question. I'll just delete my question and go to another forum.

He was complaining about ATM's only giving him $100, and the problems this caused with getting change.Miguelito wrote:I missed the questions. Could you please ask again and I'll answer for you. OK, I try not to be flippant but pulling USD 90 or 95 (depending on what notes your ATD dispenses) sounds like the best bet.
I am also assuming you pull money to pay for something so why don't you just do that? A Benjamin Franklin is a lot easier to change these days than 15 years ago.

I just go to a bar or restaurant and buy a beer and pay with $100.
Or the supermarket, corner shop etc.
Sometimes, I'm working behind the bar and get given a $100, but dont have change, so I spend five minutes to visit the moneychanger. Change $10 to KHR, get $90 too.

There is an option to withdraw in riel...or is that only with a local card? Not that it matters, as the OP has spat the dummy and left. I liked the OP for TTM's action.

I try to break hundreds at the Supermarket, or any bar/restaurant where my bill is at least ten or twenty dollars.
Paying for a single happy hour beer with a hundred is pure fuckwittery, especially if it is your first visit to the bar.
Keep your smaller notes well hidden when paying with a hundred.
Get rid of the big notes and dirty money first.
