You are not a customer. Customers pay to buy products or use services. As such I'm under no obligation to be polite to you or tolerate you.
If this site required a subscription fee, you wouldn't have any members.
But the quid pro quo of that arrangement is that no site owner should feel any need to be polite to asshats who not only add no value, but actively go out of their way to be twattish and put off other members.
95% of 440 posters contribute a huge amount to the site; it's the 5% that I've been working on getting rid of over the last couple of years. Just a few to go, DPP
I invite you to ban me now. No loss to me.

I don't have a dog in this fight but I do understand that there are a significant number of cases in which a child has made allegations of abuse that may not be true.

Maybe I'm reaching a bit here, but the legal chaps may possibly look for more evidence rather than just the child testimony.
Yes, there are, but in this case the situation seems more nuanced.wolfcreek wrote:I don't have a dog in this fight but I do understand that there are a significant number of cases in which a child has made allegations of abuse that may not be true.

Her mother discovered bruising while bathing the little girl. As I understand it she asked the child what happened, and the child said 'teacher'. It's not like she was surrounded by 6 well-meaning social workers asking her persistently 'did the teacher do this, sweetheart?' The information was offered unprompted.
The same happened when the girl was asked by the police.
So you have physical signs of abuse. You have parents and police asking who did it, and she saying consistently - teacher. I can't think of a valid reason why she would say the teacher did it. It's not like a 5 year old would have some kind of vendetta against the guy.

This seems to be new? I never heard about bruising before? And how do you bruise someone with cunnilingus? I guess I've been doing it wrong all these years.Marmite wrote: Her mother discovered bruising while bathing the little girl. There was no cunninglingus. Would you stop with the fucking cunnilingus?
These news stories always start with uninformed statements and comments appearing in the media. One of those was an off-the-cuff reference to cunnilingus which everyone has latched onto, wrongly. The same applies to the alleged STD. Language is loose, translations get fucked up. According to my information there was no STD, no infections, just bruising, which was discovered by the mother while bathing the child.
Then the questions were asked. Answers were given and the arrest was made.
Once the story started to settle, more accurate official police statements started to emerge. That is exactly what happened here.

I am unapologetic about getting rid of the twats who remain a drag on this forum; bkktrapper, vladimir, Rain Dog, SCC, ken svay, and the kiddie porn peddling Gibbon Arms. I would be an idiot to allow them to keep polluting the site with their bullshit.

Ken svay is good people. He was a good contributor overall. Your perma-ban of him was harsh and arbitrary given how you allow flying chicken and bscw to post copious nonsense daily.

That's exactly my guess as well. I can't recall many (if any) cases where they don't invite the press (or rather, press shows up on their own) and showcase all the evidence. This is a country of gawkers and tabloids. That hasn't been the case here, where they've been extremely quiet. I doubt they found anything comes conclusive at his place (those folders of pork everyone says pedos have).gavinmac wrote:Cambodian police often boast about evidence they have against a foreign perp. The last time I checked, prosecuting authorities don't carefully itemise the investigation and evidence on social media or the internet in the UK, US, Europe or Australia; perhaps he believes the Cambodian authorities should be held to a higher standard of governance and transparency.
Doesn't mean he's not guilty, just means the police probably have very little evidence at the moment. Will that affect the outcome of the trial? Hard to say in the Kingdom of Wonder, but I'd say no. Once arrested, you're usually considered guilty to some degree and do time accordingly.

ken svay wasn't permabanned. He was banned for three months. It expired months ago.

Tough shit, it doesn't work like that. Squeal all you want. Nobody is listening.
Now. You know why it's called the 'world wide web?'
Because it's everywhere, and you are spouting about one teeny tiny little corner of it.
If it's so important to you, well, give us a buzz and I'll send the brandy and razor blades and even run you the bath.
Fuckin' yanks. I've shit 'em.

You have totally missed the point of my input into this discussion. I am well aware its different here in this little corner of the world and thats part of my point. That doesn't mean we from another place should adopt that kind of thinking and behavior. We should know better.
I guess you support a quasi democracy, vice, corruption, and a system that is more motivated by money than truth?
If you don't like reading 'my shit' I suggest that you put me on your ignore list, you will feel better in a few days. I doubt you speak for everyone here and that nobody else cares or agrees with me.
BTW, I am not an 'American' another clear example of how clueless you are, but on that, I agree with the rest, I don't like them much either.
I would still like to collect on the Brandy and a nice shave in the tub, sounds delightful. Can I have some candles too? Please let me know how to collect. In the meantime, kindly take your own advice and STFU yourself.
