The Balfour Agreement 100 terrible years on

Believe it or not, there is a whole other world outside of Cambodia and South East Asia, be it people or politics, frustrations or football, this is the place to talk about it.

Very interesting read, few people know that John Buchan was such a racist trashbag

To be fair, many Palestinian landowners at the time were paid cash for their property. All poor Chief Harold's people got in return for their vast land was a handful of beads, the eternal curse of the blue-eyed devil's firewater, and a few blankets chock full of smallpox.

Vladimir, you should start an anti-Zionist thread and post all of the most interesting information you've managed to find. Just don't go comparing Israel to the Nazis. After all, using gas chambers to carry out a genocide is far worse than using white phosphor to carry out a genocide.

It's been done many times...

http://mondoweiss.net/

A site set up and run by moderate Jews who understand what the current (and many previous govts) have sown the seeds for

Obviously, they have been labelled 'self-hating' Jews, simply because the old, tired, first- resort label of anti-Semite doesn't work

Decent people who are the conscience of the society, along with thousands of orthodox Jews who see the govt for what it is.

*caveat: I have Jewish friends who agree with my views, which obviously makes me an anti-Semite LOL.

To be fair, there are renegade Jews and half Jews who sympathize with neo-Nazis and White Supremacists. I am not saying that you are an anti-Semite but to argue that you aren't one because you have Jewish friends doesn't really hold water. Many of the worst anti-Semites in modern day America proudly cite the works of the Jewish economists von Mises and Murray Rothbard. Murray Rothbard even wrote glowingly of David Duke.

Comparing Israel to the Third Reich also seems unfair in my opinion. The Third Reich, like the British Empire, murdered orders of magnitude more people than Israel. However, it is ridiculous and unfair that a certain poster here accused you of being an anti-Semite simply for making the comparison. Both the Third Reich and Israel are guilty of attempting to carry out a genocide. The Third Reich has long been defeated whereas the very real genocide being carried out against the Palestinians is ongoing. It is only natural then that people will compare modern day genocidal regimes to Nazi Germany because the Nazis are the best and the most notorious example of a genocidal regime.

Citing the works of some guys to further an agenda and my being friends with Jewish people since my youth are two very different things, I think you'll agree.

There are certain elements of the situation which are similar to Nazi Germany, but I agree that Israel is more like apartheid SA on meth.

I don't think magnitude has anything to do with whether we can liken someone to a Nazi or not. The underlying doctrine is the pernicious thing, so whether Hitler had killed one Jew or millions, he is still evil in my opinion, and those who view themselves as a ' special race' with some kind of divine right/mission, and their enemies as ' animals' (usually they use the word ' beasts') are already going down the low road.

If people do nothing, the next step is way beyond apartheid, perhaps you could suggest something else to liken it to, if you disagree with my comments above?

I'm with Harold: Vlad, I mostly agree with your stance on Israel but find cringe-worthy your eagerness to implicate it into every second thread. Contact Linda Sarsour (Cockroach) or Ms. Yassmin Abdel-Magied and start your own little echo-chamber/circle jerk.

ttf, this is in its own thread, as suggested by ttm. When you get to be a mod, and if I 'implicate' (usage?) it into an irrelevant thread, I may listen.(I doubt it, though)

Your past and business ethic has its own especially cringe-worthy qualities, imo.

Boxes in aisle 3 need packing.

I think you're referring to USS Liberty?

https://www.wikiwand.com/en/USS_Liberty_incident

https://www.wikiwand.com/en/King_David_Hotel_bombing

https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Killings_an ... estine_war

All of these can be verified on different sites, just used wiki for convenience now.

Obviously both sides are guilty of terrorism, any idiot who bothers to read the history can see that.

My point is that NO ONE should be above criticism.

Palestinian murders someone, imprison him for life. Israeli does it, imprison him for life, not begrudgingly give a three-month sentence. Israeli steals or Palestinian steals, prosecute them.End of.Fair? You'd think so...

The Zionists have recently been up in arms because of some letter that Prince Charles wrote in 1986. I hate defending the royal family because the queen is vile and despicable.
https://www.jta.org/2017/11/12/news-opi ... ast-unrest

"[...]Gideon Falter, said in a statement Sunday. “The letter also appears to endorse the view that Israel is not simply the result of Jewish self-determination in the historic Jewish homeland, but the result of bullying by an all-powerful ‘Jewish lobby’ which holds US presidents in its clutches. We view these comments as unmistakably antisemitic.”"

As is written in their holy book, the Israelites carried out a genocide against the Canaanites and they did not spare man, woman, child or livestock in their conquest of Canaanite lands. Somehow, this magically makes them entitled to Palestinian territory. To suggest that Israel exists as a result of Jewish self-determination and not because the Zionists were backed by the most powerful military on the planet is so laughable as to not even be worth responding to.
