Visited Kampot recently, was very impressed on how the old hotel has been refurbished, but at $400 per night was empty when I was there, Went into the new casino whilst I was there invested $20 played Blackjack for about an hour we were the only ones there of course lost the lot, but cheap entertainment

They certainly did. It just doesn't look right without those corner "guard towers" or cupolas or whatever you call them. I guess the top is where those $2000 a night suites are? I don't remember seeing many big rooms in the upper part of the place when it was a ruin.
