Mongolian Blue Spot
Apparently this is a thing among Asian babies (particularly mixed blood), where they have a blue spot that appears to look like a very large bruise, normally on their lower backs and butts. Some cultures said this means the baby is a descendent or Ghengis Khan, which of course would be an urban myth.
But, has this been common with your mixed blood babies?

Quick background on the subject: https://www.healthline.com/health/mongo ... alth-risks
It's just a birth mark akin to the red birth marks that westerners can get. By mixed blood I'm guessing you meant blood type mixing rather than say half Khmer, half Westerrn blood? My little dude is white as white & the mother-in-law remarked that he didn't have the "blue spot" which was odd to her - but of course to me absolutely normal. Despite the wife being immeasurably more beautiful, it appears the little guy picked up 99% of his genes from me from skin & hair colour, to astounding MODOK-esque intelligence, etc.

Can’t say I’ve looked at many (if any) babies butts but now I’ll make sure I do.

Think mine is of direct lineage from the great Khan, Attila the Hun and Vlad Tepes Dracule. Mostly from the Cambodian side.FatherTime wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 11:10 amSome cultures said this means the baby is a descendent or Ghengis Khan

Yes, my half-Vietnamese daughter was born with it but it eventually disappeared.

This link is to a Pattaya Mail story on Mongolian blue spot. Interesting folk tales but, contrary to the story's final paragraph, it offers no evidence of a direct link to Genghis Khan.
The concluding paragraph is nonsense. Just another Pattaya expat taking a folk tale, extrapolating, and then restating it as fact. (nothing I hate more)

The scholarly view is that Indochinese peoples did have genetic input from the Moguls but I can find no research that pins the blue spot to Genghis Khan. It is actually very common in a number of races all over the world.
Good folk tale and interesting to know. But it ain't fact and it sure ain't science.

According to the doctor Ghengis Khan was born just over 1000 years ago and died in 1227.

Yes, I didn’t recognize this with my son but pediatrician here in US pointed it out on my daughter just born a month ago.

I've seen them on adult women, wasn't sure what the hell they were.

“Blue Butt Bar” coming to a town near you. (Probably in Kampot and run, briefly, by Dave Ex).
