Personally, I prefer the much older mantra; "Better dead than Red"! Of course today's Dem's are starting to get real close, with AOC and Bernie heading the list.Sonic1 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 9:20 pmThis lovely couple at a Trump rally would rather be Russians than Democrats https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/russi ... at-shirts/

Since I have a choice I will be what I have almost always been a conservative independent. And with the Dem's today that leaves me no choice who to vote for.Sonic1 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 12:40 pmYou would rather be a Russian than a Democrat?Johnsell50 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 7:29 amPersonally, I prefer the much older mantra; "Better dead than Red"! Is a conservative independent a democrat or a Russian?
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Australia’s secret deal with US to house accused Rwandan killers...
https://www.couriermail.com.au/news/nat ... 30f2f2bc01As part of the deal struck in 2016 between Australia and the US, Washington agreed to take up to 1250 refugees — mostly from Iran, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan — who were being held in Australian-run offshore detention.
Australia had agreed to resettled Central American refugees from camps in Costa Rica. Both these deals were made public.
But Politico claims a secret deal was also made between the two countries which saw Australia agree to take in at least two of three Rwandans who were in the US to face trial over the American tourist murders.
It’s reported the three men confessed to the murders but the case fell apart.
This left all three men in a state of legal limbo, without provisions to stay in the US but they were fighting not to be returned to their home country citing fears of persecution.
It’s understood Australia accepted two of the men as humanitarian migrants as a favour to the US.
Mr Turnbull struck the US resettlement deal with former president Barack Obama under which Australia has accepted at least 30 refugees through the reciprocal arrangements.
US President Donald Trump expressed strong opposition to the refugee swap deal when Mr Turnbull spoke with him about it but he was convinced to stick with it.
The men were once-accused of being part of a rebel ambush of eight tourists who were trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest of Uganda. The tourist group were on the lookout for rare mountain gorillas.
The March 1999 attack saw an American couple, four Britons and two New Zealanders either hacked or bludgeoned to death by the rebels who were members of the Hutu Army for the Liberation of Rwanda.

Yes, it is amazing the amount of deals that were made by our last president. I think the only reason this one still stand is because Trump wants to stay on as good of terms as he can with Australia, I agree. They have stood by us too many times to count. I still agree these 3 should be punished somehow for what they did. Maybe Australia can find a way to resettle them in New Zealand, close to relatives of the ones they murdered.

Pretty sure the victims relatives don't want them "resettle" nearby. Just a hunch, mind you.Johnsell50 wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2019 10:48 amYes, it is amazing the amount of deals that were made by our last president.
