I wouldn't know, as I never read it. I find myself skipping reading even the Phnom Penh Post nowadays too. Maybe just check it once or twice a week.

As for the Khmer Times, it's not well written and they have a habit of plagiarizing foreign articles for their dull " opinion pieces".
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

It wasn't an opinion. It was just you talking about yourself.

God knows why, maybe filth is upper-class
ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.

They're not called the filthy-rich for nothing.

Wow, now I see why there is little or no discussion on this board. Literally diverted into shitty conversations over and over,
BTW most of us lost our fascination with toilet training at about age 4 or so.
What about the original question?

I think you'll find that it was one poster who decided to go down that route. A poster who admitted he has never actually never read it, yet felt his voice needed to be heard. I find it hard to believe that someone who lives here has never read it, whether in a stack of free papers at a hotel or online.
To me they are another news source and are useful for local reports. Their editorials often verge on the ridiculous. To disregard them seems counterproductive. They are, whether anyone likes it or not, one of the main English language newspapers coming out of Cambodia. I used to get them free at work and found I'd often go cover to cover in two minutes, other times they had interesting reports. For example this one today:
