The restaurants at Sofitel and Rosewood are disappointing (at least Rosewood has a view though).There are obviously some really fantastic top notch restaurants at Sofitel, Rosewood, etc. among others, the list above is more every day 'go to' places at a reasonable price usually as I don't think the Op intended it to be a 'who can spunk the most on a Michelin star menu' contest.

Alright, Luigi's got 2 votes, worth a try.
I find waiting too long a terrible pastime, bad service, stares, dishes arriving 10-15 min. apart will totally destroy any cozy mood imo. And yes, in this climate, it's just hard to keep a kitchen completely free from natural intrusion and the fridge at the correct temperature, so food poisoning is a factor as well.
