During a meeting with nearly 6,000 journalists on the afternoon of January 14, 2020, Samdech Techo Hun Sen reiterated that he will remain in office for at least 10 years as Prime Minister through elections. Therefore, no transfer from Samdech to son, Hun Sen to Hun Manet, as mentioned by some media outlets.
“Behind Hun Sen is Hun Sen,” he said. If Manet is qualified, he will have to wait another 10 years. We are a democracy, not a country that transfers power from father to son, as some countries do. We have to go through elections, ” he said.
Hun Sen became Premier 35 years ago today.

Nah. He’ll either get sick or realise he’s even more unpopular with the young than he was before the election.
Hun Manet as PM by mid 2021.
