Coming into the L&B Language school buttery the other day I found all my bottles washed. Not an uncommon occurrence as sometimes the night shift (as we have come to call the Fey Folk that live in the cellar) would take it upon themselves to do the cleaning. I was taken aback however when I stumbled upon a pair of them hard at work. They turned on me rather crossly, demanding to know why I had never mentioned their important role in our educational family. Claiming, quite rightly, that as descendents of Amergin himself they had not stowed away on Pizarroís ship just to be out-shone by cheetahs and bodhisattvas. In deed they assured me that if they were permitted to assist in the writing (that is to say that they dictate and I write down every blessed word that fell from their lips) I would be guaranteed the fiercest, wiliest, most eloquent ontological-guerrilla educator that I dared imagine. All that was necessary was to set down a description of this being and soon they would drift down, below the remittance line, to our front door. So in their words, we seek the person that answers to the following:
I am the wind that blows across the sea; I am the wave of the ocean;
I am the murmur of the billows; I am the bull of the seven combats;
I am the vulture on the rock; I am a ray of the sun; I am the fairest of flowers;
I am a wild boar in valor; I am a salmon in the pool; I am a lake on the plain;
I am the skill of the craftsman; I am a word of science;
I am the spearpoint that gives battle;
I am the God who creates in the head of man the fire of thought.
I ask the same as I have in the past
• Letters of Marque from Higher Education Gods and Monsters
• A burning desire to rescue the EFL masses from the ankle nipping demons of subject-object confusion and fear of speaking
• Chronological currency to be spent, where things are not pretty, but are definitely good.
And offer the same.
• A roof overhead that does not leak.
• Fancy pieces of multi-colour paper, handed over promptly.
• An opportunity to fashion enchantments of grammatical battle and hopeful change

Where's that post about recreational drugs in Cambodia?
Perhaps we could arrange a town-twinning with Phnom Penh...
