I am thinking about coming to Cambodia in April but have heard pros and cons. Therefore I would like some feedback and opinions from someone who has lived there longer than 6 months.I want to bring my wife to be, but want her to have a quiet and peaceful experience. I am currently a US citizen in the Philippines and looking forward to Cambodia. Any respectful feedback is welcome.
- There are many expats who are there for drugs including acid and heroin and many of them are school teachers in rural areas
- People get robbed all the time
- I am retired but hope to get a teaching job part time but the competition is high mostly wanting recent college grads. I do have a TEFL, however teachers who are paid or volunteered get treated bad and fired.
- Buddast are non Christian and evil. They Pray to Jasper Buddah Blakeh
Is Cambodia full of evil Buddhists and teachers in rural areas high on acid and heroin?

Not true.
Most of the SmackHead Hippies tripping their tits off on Class A Narcotics are not teachers and are not in rural Cambodia ...
They are TEFL Jobbers in Phnom Penh.
(Those that can do, those that can not teach, those that can not teach, TEFL )
Flippers are actually welcomed as productive and hard-working people. Americans are not.

Yes, I was out with some people on a boat trip a few months back and one of them was doing acid.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
There used to be a heroin addict living in Sihanoukville that cooked his own.
If it's real LSD it's very easy to bring across borders because it's odor- and tasteless. People often smuggle it in mint drop bottles for example.
Oh to be young.

Drugs are for mugs...
Unless it's heroin, in which case a spoon might be better.

I always thought they put LSD in the water supply of KT reporters and government spokesmen.
