New Road Through Cardamoms
They've kept this quiet, if true:
Koh Kong: Officials will inaugurate National Road 55 in Thmor Dam, Pursat province, in March. There will also soon be the opening of National Road 10 linking Samlot, Battambang to Koh Kong.
National Road 55 was built under a concession financing from the Government of the People’s Republic of China, with a total contribution of $ 132.80 million to the Royal Government of Cambodia.
The total road length is 180 km, 9 meters wide and 45 bridges. It runs from National Road No 5 (191 + 150) through the Cardamom Mountains – Veal Veng-Thmor District, Pursat Province (along the Cambodia-Thailand Border with Trat Province).
The project started on May 4, 2015, and took 42-months to construct by Bridge Road Corporation China (CRBC), under technical supervision from Guangzhou Wanna Construction Supervision Co.,
The construction of this shortcut will reduce the freight time from Battambang to Sihanoukville port.

No you will not!
Leave that for motorcycles.
Knee down action!
Damn. I need to buy a ZX6, R1, CBR600 (sensible option), or Huyabusa (silly option. And too heavy).

I don’t get into that discussion of bike vs car. I’d enjoy both (Porsche not my CRV!) but for different reasons. On a bike it’s a proper workout and a visceral experience, plus a bit scary.
In a car you can turn up the A/C or music!
pew, pew, pew, pew!
Maybe. I’m pretty sure those Porchie sound pretty awesome on full chat. I know my mates GT2 did but that was on a track (Folembray in )

Road 10 confirmed to start next month:
Construction work on the new National Road No.10 connecting Battambang to Koh Kong is scheduled to begin in March, with the ground-breaking ceremony to be presided over by Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen.
The announcement on the ground-breaking schedule was made by Samdech Hun Sen during the ground-breaking ceremony for the renovation of National Road 2 and 22 on 11 February.
According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the project has a total length of 197km, connecting from the Samlaut area of Battambang as a corridor to Pursat to Koh Kong and then to Sihanoukville through National Road No. 48.
“After this road is completed, the people of Battambang, Pursat, Banteay Meanchey, and Pailin do not have to travel through Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville anymore. They can take this new route to Koh Kong and then go to Sihanoukville directly, saving more than 100 kilometers,” said Samdech Hun Sen.
The project will be built with financial aid from China. During the past few months, the inter-ministerial working group has been accelerating the planning study to push this project as soon as possible with the aim to ease the logistic system in Cambodia. CONSTRUCTION-PROPERTY
