Hell’s Kitchen – Cambodia

Whilst perusing the menu at my local Khmer restaurant I was reminded of the mantra , ‘he who dines alone, chokes alone.’

By running my eyes down the menu I couldn’t help but notice the ‘fried lord with mek.’ Is this some sort of posh nosh?

As if that wasn’t enough, where else could you find a more aristocratic sounding dining experience than ‘special fried lord’, which was available for a mere 2500 riel.

Diners could also chow down on the incomparably gormless sounding ‘Soup with big string noodle’ although they might wish to avoid such indelicacies as ‘Toe nail calf soup,’ unless they happened to be ordering for their worst enemy, that is.
